Life changes, ya know.  We have areas of our life we are very committed to at different seasons.  We grow personally and that changes how we interact with others, how we perceive our job or our relationships in general.

In updating the blog yesterday, I was changing some of the “about me” to reflect the current changes that have happened in my life.  After reading my initial closing thought, the following just came out:

Never stay stagnant.  You’re always changing and God is always wanting to continually grow with you during that change.

I think that is one of the things I’m learning. Not only do I change, but the people around me change.  Some for the better, some for the worse.  Some change I am indifferent to and some change they are oblivious to.  It doesn’t really matter how I feel about the change.  I just must “be the river” as the beau often says and go with it  With that, I have to remember that God is also right there beside me flowing right along with me and my changes.  The changes in my own self I don’t yet understand.  The changes in my environment and relationships that I’m not sure will ever make sense.

Change isn’t easy, but just know that whatever changes are taking place in your life–be they insignificant or something that is affecting every aspect of your very livelihood–you are not alone.  God is with you.

  1. So glad to see you back up & posting! It has truly inspired me, Mylo. I will write at least one new blog piece a year — I will set the bar super low. That way if I get out more than one, the masses — re: you — will be super surprised. Have a wonderful day!

    • Thanks baby…hopefully I”ll be more of a “once a year” inspiration. You have a gift of writing babe…don’t deny it.
